The cemetery church of St. Michael, which dates back to the 14th century, houses a museum with valuable Gothic frescoes and sacred works of art. They mainly come from the eight churches in Taufers in the Münstertal valley and the Marienberg Abbey. A special object in the exhibition is the late Gothic St Martin's winged altar from 1520 with its lost and rediscovered sculptures.
The museum is run by the parish council of Taufers im Münstertal and is open to the public between July and mid-October every Wednesday between 10:00 and 12:00.
